Testware provided test planning, functional testing, manual testing, environment & compatibility and test automation services for two projects over a period spanning three and one-half years.
For the client/server human resources development system, Testware provided a team of four people to work along side the client's in-house testing staff and perform test planning, manual testing and functional testing. In parallel with this effort, Testware developed a regression test automation system to lessen the large/repetitive manual testing burden. All work for this project was done at the client's site over a two and one-half year period.
For the Web-based human resources development system, Testware provided a team of five people to perform test planning, manual testing, functional testing, and to a lesser extent, test automation. All work for this project was done at Testware's office over a one year period.

- recommended and implemented a test automation tool for cross-database and cross-platform testing of the development system client and its companion administrative statistical analysis and reporting package
- extended the automation framework to reuse the automated script battery against a Web-based alpha version of the development system on multiple browsers
- performed test planning, manual testing and functional testing as needed to support the client's release schedule and deadlines

- wrote a plethora of detailed functional test plans based on partially complete specifications
- executed the test plans against application builds as necessary and on a wide variety of hardware/software configurations
- reported defects; followed through on all defects to resolution/closing
- developed automated test scripts for the most tedious/repetitive areas of testing
