Testware provided environment & compatibility, manual testing and functional testing services for the anti-virus and hard disk management software packages. The compatibility and functional tests were performed manually in Testware's in-house test lab based on client-supplied test plans. Ad-hoc tests outside the test plan boundaries were also executed.
During "downtime" between test cycles, Testware provided test planning services, adding detail to and adding additional test cases to the client-supplied test plans.
Forty six (46) anti-virus scan builds and fifty six (56) hard disk management builds were tested in a 200 person-day effort. A team of four Testware consultants worked in parallel to accomplish all of this testing in a two month period.
