Invalid Credit Card Number
During our fulfillment testing and negative functional testing effort for an e-commerce site, we executed a series of tests that involved using invalid credit card numbers to make purchases on the site. The expected result was that a properly formatted error message in plain language displays, instructing the user to check and correct his/her credit card information. The actual result was the display of a server-side error message from the interface to the credit card processing vendor:
