Submitting Blank Form on Website
The error message below was found during Web testing and functional testing of a non-profit organization's website. This site had many forms, one of which allowed a user to submit his business and contact information to the organization.
One of our test cases involved submitting this form without any data (completely blank). Instead of a plain language error message displaying that informed the user what required fields were missing data, the error message in "computer-speak" below displayed.
Allure error code 149 (0x95)
Could not save the field (Referral) with value (Select One) in the Statement: Add command.
