Test Case Design                                                    

Description

Test Case Design is an intense hands-on experience that covers a variety of techniques used to derive test cases, including positive vs. negative testing, white and black box testing, boundary value analysis, equivalence class testing and decision tables. The creation of test databases and baseline states for the test environment are also discussed.

Course Objectives

Audience, Prerequisites

Class attendees are typically QA testers, analysts and engineers who have been primarily testing in an ad-hoc fashion and are looking for more formal techniques to apply. Some familiarity with or exposure to testing is assumed.

Course Length, Format, Logistics

Course length: 1 day

Course format: lecture plus individual and group exercises and discussions.

Course logistics: Each attendee is provided with his/her own copy of the course manual and exercise set. Attendees do not need access to personal computers or workstations.

Location

Testware teaches this course (and all Testware courses) to groups of 3 or more individuals from the same company. Our instructors teach onsite (at or near your company's site) on a date convenient to your organization. Location options include, but are not limited to:

$3,000 for class, plus $50 per student for materials.

Example: For 10 students the total for the class and materials would be $3,500.

The above pricing does not include instructor travel and subsistence expenses. These expenses will be billed to your company by Testware at cost.
