This course is 1-day hands-on training course that provides some basic background information for beginning testers.

Basic testing terminology
Basic analysis techniques
The difference between QA and testing activities
The difference between black and white box testing activities
Basic computational and logic fundamentals review

Audience, Prerequisites

This course is intended for beginning level testers and analysts.

Participants are expected to have knowledge of Microsoft Windows.

Course Length, Format, Logistics

Course length: 1 day

Course format: lecture plus individual and group exercises and discussions.

Course logistics: Each attendee is provided with his/her own copy of the course manual and exercise set. Attendees do not need access to personal computers or workstations.

Location

Testware teaches this course (and all Testware courses) to groups of 3 or more individuals from the same company. Our instructors teach onsite (at or near your company's site) on a date convenient to your organization. Location options include, but are not limited to:

a training room in your office
a conference room in your office
a training or conference center near your office

Price:

$3,000 for class, plus $50 per student for materials.

Example: For 10 students the total for the class and materials would be $3,500.

The above pricing does not include instructor travel and subsistence expenses. These expenses will be billed to your company by Testware at cost.
